With over two decades of experience photographing actors in both London and Los Angeles, David brings a deep understanding of the entertainment industry—and the performer’s journey—to every shoot. A self-proclaimed “theatre kid” with a background in entertainment, he knows exactly what actors need to shine on camera.
David approaches each session like a director, speaking the language of performers and guiding them to bring subtle subtext and intention to every casting look. He loves to direct and guide you to find the perfect casting shot.
Sessions combine a clean editorial style with traditional headshots, so you get images that work across both theatrical and commercial markets and are geared for the leading LA and NYC markets. We’ll add a dash of Texas too, just to give it your own Southern signature.

I shoot using daylight and studio flash on multiple backgrounds, and every shot is viewed live so we can work together to get the best image.
