With over two decades of experience photographing actors in both London and Los Angeles, David brings a deep understanding of the entertainment industry—and the performer’s journey—to every shoot. A self-proclaimed “theatre kid” with a background in entertainment, he knows exactly what actors need to shine on camera.
David approaches each session like a director, speaking the language of performers and guiding them to bring subtle subtext and intention to every casting look. He loves to direct and guide you to find the perfect casting shot. His guidance is like the discovery of your character’s intentions in a scene. It’s also fun, we’ll have some good music curated and there’s coffee on site and always a fridge of cold drinks!

A great intro to actor / artist headshots or for someone who needs a quick refresh with their casting looks or for someone who needs some creative headshots for their artist profile.

DIRECTOR'S CUT
Session Time: 90mins
This is my most popular session and fun session to really work on your casting looks, with more creative input from me.
A mix of informal modern editorial style portraits and classic headshot.

RISING STAR (Under 17)
Session Time: 30-60mins (age depending)
Discounted studio session for individual younger actors (under 17)
GROUP & STUDENT RATES: please email if you want to organize a headshot day for your acting class or college, or if you’re an acting student 17-21 years old
I offer guidance on wardrobe looks and each session is tailored to what your looks are - so backgrounds and lighting will be based around what you bring to the studio.
I always recommend bringing some casting looks that serve a broad range of casting brackets.
My goal is simple: to create standout headshots that capture your essence and get you seen!
Hair & Make up
Want to look your absolute best? We work with professional, on-site hair & makeup artists who know exactly what works for camera. Simply add this service to your session when you book.
Full Hair & Makeup (Women) – $300
Includes 1 hour of professional hair styling and makeup application before your shoot. Perfect for polished, camera-ready results.Men’s Grooming & Makeup – $200
Includes 30–45 minutes of hair grooming and light makeup to reduce shine, even skin tone, and define features.Camera Ready - Light MU - $175 (all clients)
Includes offers basic skin prep, hair tussle and subtle makeup to even skin tone and reduce shine — perfect for busy professionals who want a quick, natural finish.
Hair & makeup services are optional add-ons. Your artist will be ready when you arrive so you can relax and enjoy your session.
