01 Do you offer student or agent discounts?

Yes. Full-time acting students can email us before booking to request a discount code. Talent agents booking on behalf of clients can also get in touch about agency rates.

02 How should I prepare for my session?

You’ll receive a detailed preparation guide after booking. Come rested, hydrated and camera-ready, and bring more wardrobe options than you expect to use. We’ll make the final choices together before shooting.

03 What should I wear?

Choose well-fitting clothes that feel like you and support the casting types you want to target. Solid colors, subtle texture and layers photograph well. Avoid distracting logos and very busy patterns. There’s a steamer at the studio if you need it.

04 Do you provide hair and makeup?

Yes. Professional hair and makeup is available as an add-on, including men’s grooming and lighter camera-ready options. It isn’t mandatory, but it can add valuable polish and consistency to your final images.

05 Can I bring my own hair and makeup artist?

Usually, yes. Please check with us first so we can approve the artist and coordinate their timing with the session.

06 How long does an actor session take?
  • Rising Star: up to 60 minutes
  • Spotlight Starter: 60 minutes
  • Casting Range: 75 minutes
  • Director’s Cut: 90 minutes

Hair and makeup and any extra wardrobe looks add time to the booking.

07 What is included in my package?

Every actor package includes a directed studio shoot, live image review, a private proof gallery and the number of professionally retouched final images listed with that package. Looks and final-image quantities vary, so check the booking page for the complete inclusions.

08 How much retouching do you do?

Final images receive a clean, natural polish that can include skin, stray-hair, eye, teeth and color work. The aim is to look like you on your best day—not like someone else. Background replacements, object removal and other advanced edits may carry an additional fee.

09 When will I receive my photos?

Your private proof gallery is normally delivered within 24–48 hours. Final retouched images are delivered within 3–5 business days after you select your favorites. Rush turnaround may be available—ask before booking.

10 Can I add full-length shots or extra looks?

Yes. Full-length portraits and additional wardrobe looks can be added when you book. Allow roughly 15–20 extra minutes for each additional look so there’s enough time to make it distinct.

11 How do payment and rescheduling work?

Standard sessions are secured with a 50% non-refundable retainer, with the balance due after your shoot. You may move the booking once with at least 72 hours’ notice. With less notice, the retainer is forfeited.

12 Is your studio inclusive?

Absolutely. Everyone is welcome in our studio. You’re invited to share your pronouns when booking so we can address you correctly.

01 Where is your studio?

Our studio is in Hyde Park, Austin 78751, inside the former Baker School—now home to creative offices and workspaces. It’s a couple of blocks from Central Market, with good coffee on site.

02 Can you photograph us at our office or event?

Yes. We bring a professional studio setup to your workplace, conference or convention and create an efficient experience around your schedule. Visit the on-site headshot page for options and starter pricing.

03 Should I book a studio session or request an on-site quote?

For one person, an individual studio package is normally the simplest choice. For teams, offices, conferences or shoots requiring a custom background and schedule, request an on-site quote so we can build the right coverage.

04 Can you match our existing company headshots?

Usually. Send us examples before the shoot and we’ll assess the lighting, crop, background and color. We can often create a close visual match, or help you establish a cleaner new standard for future hires.

05 How many people can you photograph in one day?

We can photograph up to roughly 100 people per day, depending on the number of stations, time per person, final-image requirements and venue logistics. Larger conferences can be built around multiple photographers and assistants.

06 What is the turnaround time?
  • Individual session proofs: normally within 24–48 hours
  • Individual retouched finals: 3–5 business days after selection
  • Team sessions: allow up to 14 days for final retouched images

Faster delivery options are available for time-sensitive projects.

07 How are the images delivered?

After the session, you’ll receive a private gallery of proofs and choose the images included for final retouching. Standard galleries are hosted for eight weeks. Gallery extensions are available for $50 per additional 90-day cycle.

08 What retouching is included?

Your package or proposal will state how many professionally retouched finals are included. Standard work can cover skin, hair, eyes, teeth and color while keeping the result natural. Additional retouched images start at $60 each; advanced edits are quoted separately.

09 Do you offer instant delivery at events?

Yes. With Instant Finished Delivery, the photos are globally color corrected and have a light image polish. Instant Headshot Retouching adds an enhanced automated portrait finish. Both are premium services and can be built into your event proposal.

10 Do you provide hair and makeup for corporate sessions?

Yes. We can book professional hair and makeup artists for individual executives, half days or full days. It’s especially helpful when a team needs a consistent, camera-ready finish.

11 How do deposits and rescheduling work?

Individual bookings are normally secured with a 50% retainer. Team and event payment schedules are set out in the proposal; larger projects or dates reserved far ahead may use staged retainers. Rescheduling with at least 72 hours’ notice allows the retainer to move once to a future date. Late changes may forfeit the retainer, and less than 24 hours’ notice or a no-show may be charged in full.

12 How can our company pay?

Team bookings are invoiced, with payment available by ACH, Zelle or credit card. A 3.5% processing fee applies to credit-card payments, and applicable Texas sales tax is shown separately.
